Getting a school quote

Marking.ai’s School plan is for whole departments, schools, or organisations. Pricing and capacity are tailored to your school, so we handle it via a quick conversation rather than a self-serve checkout.

This article shows you how to request a quote.

Where to find the quote form

1. Open Settings → Billing.
2. Scroll to the bottom — you’ll see a Talk to us about a school plan card.
3. Click it.

What to fill in

The form asks for:

• School or college name — e.g. “Birch House Secondary”
• Your name — so we know who to contact
• Contact email — pre-filled with your signed-in email; change it if you’d rather we contacted someone else
• Number of teachers (rough) — a ballpark is fine, e.g. “around 40”
• Estimated submissions per year — your best guess of how many student submissions you’d mark across the school in a year (e.g. 10,000)
• Anything else we should know? — optional. Useful for things like a budget cycle, a timeline, or particular subject focus.

Submitting

Click Send and your request reaches us. You’ll usually hear back within one working day. If you haven’t heard from us by then, email connect@marking.ai and we’ll chase it up.

What happens next

Once we’ve received your request, we’ll:

1. Reach out to confirm the details and answer initial questions
2. Build a quote based on your school’s size and expected usage
3. Help you set up a school workspace and invite your team

Do I have to be a school admin to request a quote?

No — any teacher with a Marking.ai account can fill in the form. We’ll loop in the right contact at your school as part of the conversation.

What if I want a quote for just one department?

That’s fine — mention it in the Anything else box. We work with departments and whole schools alike.

Can I trial a school plan before committing?

We can put together a short pilot for many schools — mention it in your request and we’ll talk through the options.
