Branding settings

Branding lets you put your school logo and brand colour on the student-facing results page and your PDF exports. A nice touch when sharing results with students, parents, or the wider team.

Getting there

Click your avatar in the top-right corner, choose Settings, then open the Branding tab.

Turning branding on

Flick the Enabled toggle to turn branding on. When it’s off, exports and shared pages use a clean, neutral look.

Click the logo area to pick a file from your computer. Supported formats:

  • PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG
  • Up to 2 MB

Square or near-square logos with a transparent background look best.

Brand colours

Pick a primary colour (and optionally a secondary) using the colour pickers, or paste in hex codes (e.g. #0086C9).

A few tips:

  • Pick a primary colour with good contrast — it’ll be used for accents and links, often against white text or white backgrounds
  • Test it on a real export before sharing widely — download a Student summary PDF and check it looks how you want

Where branding shows up

When branding is enabled, it applies automatically to:

  • The student-facing results page opened via share links
  • Student summary PDFs
  • Submission report PDFs
  • Class summary PDFs

For more, see Branding your shared outputs.

Saving and turning off

Click Save when you’re done. To turn branding off (e.g. for a specific export), flick the Enabled toggle back. Saved logos and colours stay in place — you can re-enable any time.

FAQs

Can I have a different brand per class or subject?

Not today — there’s one logo and one set of colours per account. If you teach across multiple schools, drop us a line.

What if my logo file is too big?

Resize it to under 2 MB before uploading. Most logos are well under this; if yours isn’t, an SVG or compressed PNG usually does it.

Does branding affect the marks themselves?

No — branding is cosmetic. Marks, feedback, and content stay identical.
